World Fibre Production to Rise from 97 Million Tons in 2017 to 145 Million by 2030

World fibre production has continued to grow in 2017, rising, we expect, by the time all data is gathered, by 2.7% to 96.9 million tonnes, with China again being the principal driving force. Growth is also forecast for South & Southeast Asia, but reductions are expected in the Americas, West Europe, the Middle East & Africa and Northeast Asia.
